The Association
SEDS Italy is a student association that promotes the exploration and development of space. As a federation of university delegations scattered throughout the country, we aim to spread interest in the world of space.
Why space?
We chose space because of the heterogeneity of the disciplines involved - scientific, humanistic, social - because of its economic potential and because of the research activity that follows from the attempt to expand towards infinity and beyond.
There are a thousand reasons to choose space. There are a thousand reasons for SEDS.
Mission
Our primary mission is to encourage students to explore and train in space, organizing events to solidify the bond between the delegations of our territory. Through our projects we want to stimulate students to get involved in an active and dynamic way. We also believe that collaborations with companies, associations and government agencies will be fundamental to offer unique job opportunities to our members.
Our team
The SEDS team is made up of passionate, dynamic and determined university students. We come from different universities and different backgrounds, but we have in common the need to know what is above us, and build together a new awareness of space.
